Gibbon Slackline

Gibbon slacklineHello everybody! Welcome to a site dedicated to Gibbon slacklines, one of the most popular brands on the market. I will tell you about the advantages of Gibbon lines, how to choose the best line for you, where you can buy it, how to use it and lot of other stuff so keep on reading!

Why Gibbon?

You can find many slackline manufacturers on the market today and I must admit that Gibbon is my favourite. There are many reasons for this and I will list at least some of them here:

  • easy to use – in my opinion the biggest advantages of Gibbon slacklines. They consist of just two pieces which you anchor to the tress and join them together with a ratchet – extremely easy, done in two minutes! If you don`t believe, just check out this video ;-)
  • safe – the lines are TÜV certified, you can hang them at any height including low to the ground and they will do their job, safely.
  • not expensive – of course you can find cheaper slacklines on the market but they mostly do not reach the qualities of Gibbon lines – generally they are quite cheap, you can find even lines that are twice as expensive.

What types are available?

There are three types of Gibbon slacklines on the market – Classic, Jibline and Funline. Let`s take a closer look at them.

Classic Slackline

Gibbon Classic slacklineThe original Gibbon slackline is perfect for everybody – beginners or advanced slackliners, kids or adults. If you are not sure which line is the best for you, go for Classic.

It`s biggest advantage is that it is so easy to use – even if you are a beginner, you can set it up in few minutes. The line is 2 inch wide so it is also very comfortable to walk on.

The Classic slackline is available in two lengths:

15 meter (49 ft) for $71.95
25 meter (82 ft) for $89.99

The 15m version is suitable for most occassions and is also $20 cheaper so I would recommend you this one. Just in case you plan some longer routes, go for the 25m – it will do the job.

You can get more information or BUY the Classic line here. (both the 15m and 25m share the same page, you just select the preferred size).

Jibline

Gibbon JiblineIf you really enjoy tricks and special moves on a slackline, I would definitely recommend you the Gibbon Jibline. Rubber is integrated in the mesh which makes the line extra bouncy – you will be able to perform moves that are much harder or even impossible to do on normal slackline. Jibline is also very easy to set-up and use.

It is available in 15m length and price of $99.99

Read more information or BUY the Jibline here.

Or watch a video about it.

Funline

Gibbon FunlineLast but not least – the Funline for children. If your intention is buying a slackline for your kids, go for this one. It is also a great choice for beginners because of it`s decreased flexibility – which means much better stability. And your stability is even enhanced by rubber based prints on the line. Of course extremely easy to use, like all Gibbon lines.

Funline comes in 15m length with price $79.99

You can get more information or BUY it here.
