First from the new stuff is the Gibbon Surfline – designed for extreme slacklining. If your are bored with classic walking and little jumping, I would recommend it to you.

You can surf, bounce, do all crazy and incredible action moves – the only limit are your skills!

The 2 inch wide webbing is used so it is much easier to maintain stability.
You will be able to set it up in a few minutes thanks to the 2 part system and long-lever ratchet.
You can set this line up to 50 meters so you have a lot of space for action jumps and tricks.
Ideal for waterlining, a lot of fun guaranteed.

How to set-up the Gibbon slackline

As I have written earlier, the biggest advantage of Gibbon slacklines is that they are so easy to set-up. You just anchor both pieces to the trees, join them with a ratchet and set the tension as you prefer – in few minutes you are ready for slacklining. Slacklining & Tree protection

When you are slacklining, tree protection is one of the most important things. You will probably damage the tree (which is vandalism), but it is also possible that you will damage your slackline!

The protection isn`t anything difficult – just use cardboard, carpet or similar material to protect the bark (see the picture). The carpet is more difficult to get but is not affected by rain or snow (as cardboard), so I would recommend it.

You can also buy a special tree protection from Gibbon – the "Treewear". There are two large pieces to cover the bark (take a look at the picture), also equiped with velcro so the fastening is much easier than with cardboard or carpet. You can get more information or buy the Treewear here.

And remember – do not anchor the line to weak or damaged trees! Use trees with hard bark and 12 inches in diameter at least.

Kids & Gibbon funline

Do you have kids? If so, you should definitely try slacklining with them – hours of fun are guranteed! And if you are planning a birthday party for them, don`t hesitate – the slackline will play the main role for sure.

Funny tip I have heard is to use swimming pool and slackline together – when you fall, nothing happens, you just get wet

Considering Gibbon gear, the Funline is without a doubt the best possibility for children – enhanced grip and decreased flexibility will help your kids make their first moves on the line much easier. Just ensure the slackline is properly set up
